Permitted Usage
FitSquirrel is designed for legitimate gym and fitness business management. You agree to:
- Use the service only for lawful business purposes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information
- Protect your login credentials and notify us of unauthorized access
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Respect the intellectual property rights of FitSquirrel and third parties
Prohibited activities include: Attempting to hack or compromise our systems, using the service for illegal activities, or violating any user's privacy rights.
Subscription and Billing
Our subscription plans provide access to FitSquirrel's features and services:
- Monthly and annual billing cycles available
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the next billing cycle
- Price changes require 30 days advance notice
- All fees are non-refundable except as outlined in our refund policy
- Failed payments may result in service suspension after 7 days
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Data Ownership and Export
You retain full ownership of all data you input into FitSquirrel:
- Your member data, financial records, and business information remain yours
- You can export your data at any time in standard formats (CSV, JSON)
- Upon account termination, you have 90 days to export your data
- We provide migration assistance for annual subscribers
Data Portability: We're committed to preventing vendor lock-in. Your data export includes all member profiles, transaction history, and class schedules.
Refund Policy
We offer refunds under specific circumstances:
- 14-day money-back guarantee for new annual subscriptions
- Prorated refunds for service outages exceeding 24 hours
- Full refund if we discontinue service with less than 90 days notice
- Billing error corrections processed within 2 business days
Refund requests must be submitted through our support system with appropriate documentation.
Limitation of Liability
While we strive for 99.9% uptime and reliable service, we limit our liability as follows:
- Total liability limited to the amount paid in the preceding 12 months
- No liability for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics) are excluded
- You're responsible for maintaining backups of critical data
Service Level Agreement: We target 99.9% uptime with automatic service credits for verified outages exceeding our SLA commitment.
